WiFi Dataloggers - Saveris 2 - Firewall settings

  Notes for your internal IT department

• The Saveris – data logger uses the protocol MQTT, which communicates over port TCP 8883 and TCP1883
• Further on the following UDP-port releases are necessary:
  Port 53 (DNS name resolution)
  Port 123 (NTP time synchronization)

Jumbo Frames (overlarge, not standardized data frames):

Saveris 2 loggers might not be used in a network which communicates with Jumbo
Frames (MTU > 1500). The MTU Size is to be configured to a maximum of 1500 Byte

Saveris 2 – application

The Saveris 2 frontend can be reached by web browser (www).
The standard TCP -ports http (80) and https (443) are used.
