Saveris only supports IPV4 (not IPV6)

-DNS is not supported. Neither the loggers nor the PC server. The testo Saveris V3 database is called by its IP address.

-"TCP keepalive" is not supported. Therefore the settings of the different switches must be adapted.

Communication ports :

1. Component communication:

-The V3 base uses port 442 for communication with the server. And port 444 for communication with the hardware components. Due to the layer model, this is independent of the connection technology (WLAN, Ethernet, ...).

-Saveris supports layer 3 of the OSI model, which is IP according to Wikipedia. TCP is based on IP, http is based on TCP. (TLS comes in between).
